About Us
A School Inspired by Great Ideals
The school was established in 1996 in accordance with the ideals of the great visionary Sri Aurobindo.
The aim of the school is to develop students into true human beings following the ideals of great spiritual visionaries such as Sri Aurobindo, the Mother, Swami Vivekananda, and other great thinkers and seers of the age.
The devoted one attains knowledge.
The school provides education from Nursery to Class I and follows the curriculum prescribed by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
Our Aim
The students will be encouraged to become polite, humble, well-mannered and respectful. Efforts will be made to ensure their balanced physical and mental development.
They will be encouraged to become successful not merely through words but through action and practical work. Modern principles of educational science will be followed in the field of learning.
Along with the regular curriculum, students will receive adequate practice in various co-curricular activities.
Although Bengali is the medium of instruction, students will also become equally proficient in English.
Students will be encouraged to develop discipline and a strong sense of duty. They will learn through sports, activities and enjoyment.
Greater importance will be given to classroom work rather than homework.
Through nature study, students will become familiar with and develop awareness of their environment.
Their creativity will be developed through creative writing and drawing, including the development of a wall magazine.
Their enthusiasm will be enhanced through art and craft exhibitions. Special arrangements will also be made to develop their self-confidence.
